3 The Parable of Jotham  There are other important roles besides leader.  Employee – Boss (Eph. 6:5ff, Col. 3:22)  Wife – Husband (Col. 3:18; 1 Pet. 3:7)  Child – Parent (Gal 4:1)  Member – Elder (1 Thes. 5:3; Phil. 2:25-29)
