Adjectives are... / words whose main syntactic role is to modify a noun or pronoun, giving more information about the noun or pronoun's referent.

e.g the nice big round old blue French glass fruit bowl

When there are 2 or more adjectives that are from the same group and is placed between the 2 adjectives. e.g The house is green and red. The library has old and new books.

With 3 or more adjectives from the same adjective group, place a comma between each of the adjectives. Place and between that last 2 adjectives. e.g We live in the big, green, white and red house at the end of the street.

Attributive and predicative adjectives : Most adjectives can be used both attributively (in front of the noun) and predicatively (after the verb BE, SEEM, LOOK etc). e.g. She has read an interesting story. The story is interesting.
