TORNADO SAFETY Seek shelter in a sturdy building. Mobile homes and cars are not safe. Stay away from windows. Closets, bathrooms, and hallways are good places. Cover yourself with pillows and blankets. If no shelter is available – find a ditch.

WATCH vs. WARNING TORNADO WATCH –Means conditions are favorable for a tornado to develop. Be prepared to go to a safe place if a warning is issued. TORNADO WARNING – Means a tornado has been spotted either on radar or visually in your county. You need to seek shelter and take cover immediately!
