Climate The temperatures in the tundra are extremely low. Only a few weeks at most have temperatures above freezing. The tundra area gets little precipitation. Most of the tundra’s precipitation comes in the form of snow. The tundra is the coldest biome. Spring Fall Summer Winter

Vegetation The vegetation for the tundra includes flowers, lichens, mosses, grasses, and shrubs. All vegetation grows near the ground. lichens Moss Shrubs

Animals The tundra is full of unique animals such as Caribou, Arctic hares, Birds, Arctic foxes, Wolves, Polar bears, Fish, Mountain goats, and Elk. Artic fox caribou Artic hare owl Polar bear

Location The tundra biomes are located in the high altitudes. They are also located in the northern hemisphere.
