ROTARY’S NEW GRANT MODEL | 3 DISTRICT GRANT DETAILS District Grant: Each district can apply for one District Grant per Rotary year Maximum size is 50% of the current year District Designated Funds (DDF) 50% of DDF = 25% of Annual Fund giving three years before.

ROTARY’S NEW GRANT MODEL | 4 DISTRICT GRANT DETAILS District Grant example: District 0123 had US $300,000 donated to the Annual Fund/SHARE in 2012- 2013 Rotary year. This produces US $150,000 DDF for District 0123 in 2015-16 Rotary Year. Maximum District Grant possible would be $75,000 for 2015-16 year.

ROTARY’S NEW GRANT MODEL | 8 HOW TO GET STARTED Talk to those in charge Three official decision makers in each district about Rotary Foundation matters: – District Governor – District Governor elect – District Rotary Foundation Chair They set up their District Grant budget each year

ROTARY’S NEW GRANT MODEL | 9 HOW TO GET STARTED Talk to those in charge Projects could be club sponsored or be a line item amount decided on by the district to fund a specific project. – Often club sponsored projects expect the club to put in half the funding and get the other half from the District Grant. – The district can just decide to allocate $xxx to fund a Youth Exchange project though.
