Themed Photo Series Select a theme that is significant to you… Abandoned Buildings, Abstracts, Amphibian, Anger, Arches, Architecture, Autumn, Back Alleys, Bad Weather, Bald Heads, Balloons, Bare Feet, Bark….. 328 Photography Themes Take 4 images that demonstrate some aspect of the theme. Be sure there is variety in your group of photos.

4. Sequence Photo Series This sequence of (at least) 4 shots should capture an "event" that happens in less 30 minutes.

5. Think about how you capture motion… Someone dancing Model airplane taking flight Scoring a goal Doing a cartwheel Making your lunch Will you take all of your photos in the sequence from the same angle and distance?

7. Time Lapse Photo Series This sequence of photos should capture an "event" that takes place over a period of days or weeks. So you would take a photo once an hour/day/week of the same subject as it changes! Our world is filled with natural metamorphoses, processes, and transformations.

8. Ted Spanga, a photographer in the 70s & 80s, used time-lapse photography to produce a series of images that capture people as they sleep.

9. Photo Story Series You can use the storyline (plot) of a well known story or you can create your own. The story should "tell itself" through the (four) images. The photos can be uploaded separately or you can put them together in Photoshop.
