5. CURRICULUM I use a variety of resources to ensure the mastery of sixth grade What is a TEK? An example of a TEK: The student is expected to classify whole numbers, integers, and rational numbers using a visual representation such as a Venn diagram to describe relationships between sets of numbers. Or The student will distinguish between a debit and credit card Or The student will extend representation for division to include fraction notation such as a/b is equivalent to a ÷b whereas b ≠ 0 LTMS/HBMS use one textbook – Holt Math GOMATH Accelerated Math uses Holt GOMATH and Everyday Math

7. SCOPE AND SEQUENCE I try to follow what the Pre Ap Math students at the middle school are doing…. I will cover sixth grade math and part of seventh grade math this year.
