10. Accomplishments… ‘92 CLS Grad ‘96 “THE” Illinois State University Grad Master’s Degree Administrative Certificate (Type 75) 20th year of teaching at CGHS 5 th year as the Asst. Athletic Director For fun…teach BTW in the summer!

11. “Off the Wall” info… HUGE Cubs fan..2016 is the year! Applied and denied 5x for Survivor Enjoy outdoor and sports activities Very enthusiastic about teaching math.. just ask your kids!

12. My expectations… My job is to prepare each student for Calculus, either AB or BC (AP Classes!). I encourage students to ask questions, to get involved and to seek help (when needed). I want the students to work their hardest so they can achieve their goals I enjoy making math interesting/fun so the students keep coming back for more!

13. Course Guidelines… Practice is given every night. Due dates are quiz and test days. Group work the following day to asses what was taught/learned. Can turn in for credit = “Grade or No Grades”. 1 quiz a week (individual) End of unit test (100 pts.) Tests=80%, Everything else=20% Qtr Exam replaces lowest test score of qtr.! Learning Log is their ticket to any E.C.

15. Learning Log A summary of each unit. Keeps the students organized with all of their papers. A great way to study—Qtr/Sem Exams. The more you put into it, the more you get out of it. At most 4 pts. EC each unit, depending on quality of work, rubric is used.
