What Is STEP? Sustainable Education Transportation Program Hands on inquiry challenge for middle and high school students to explore electric and solar options for the future Students are challenged to re-design or build a small remotely controlled car Students design a solar charging station Students enter their work into a competition at NC State Lots of support and help throughout the project Lots of fun for teachers and students Lots of brainstorming and creating Encourages an interest in STEM education
