2 Terms  Narrative Theory: is the continuing pursuit of oral and scripted documentation of verified fictional and/or non-fictional events. How the intricacies of linguistics and cultural relics evolve and stimulate populations from local to international.  Intertextuality: Reference to or connection with other “texts” outside of the present one.  Frame Narrative: An event occurring with the events unfolding in a story.  Archetypes: A model of speech, behavioral pattern, and appearance used to distinguish characters in a narrative (ex. charming villain vs. sidekick)  Semiotics: A theory of study that involves applying various sign processes to communicating in-depth connotation, language/linguistics, and symbolic elements to a storyline.
