7 How did the War of 1812 help launch the I.R. in the US?
Before the war we bought almost all our finished goods from England up During the war the British blockaded our coast and refused to sell us any finished goods, forced America to begin to build factories and make its own manufactured (or finished) goods. South forced to sell raw materials to the North, and buy finished goods from the North After the war we continued to build factories and produce finished goods.
