Ideal learning environment The place you work in can make a big difference to the quality of your work.
2
Designing your ideal learning environment Look at the following pictures and think what do you like / dislike about them? How could you make this? You need to have a small box (classroom) and you will make all the furniture.
3
Conventional? Little displays = no distractions. Bright and clean
4
Modern? Lots of computers, no windows, comfy chairs
5
Futuristic? Funky designed furniture, cool storage space. No windows, and does not look comfortable.
6
Bright? Huge windows, lots of light. sofas for relaxing and a working area for working
7
Cosy? Calming yellow walls, work areas and relaxing areas.
8
Modern layout. Stepped rows (like a cinema) so everyone can see the front of the classroom.
9
Consider the layout of the tables and chairs. Should they be in a semi-circle this the picture? Or, should you have rows, circle groups, or just scattered around the classroom?
10
My ideal learning environment Draw a design in your books first.
