2 Your group must include a starter for the class to write down. This starter includes your teaching objectives for your notes and a moment of math that is a review (not new). 10 points

3  40 points  Your project should include at least 4 slides containing the answers to the following questions about your subject: ◦ Does it have a backbone? ◦ Skeleton? ◦ What is Symmetry and what type of symmetry does it have? ◦ How does it think? (Does it have a nervous system?)

5  40 points  Explain and show an example of the 4 most distinguishing characteristics of your phylum or class. ◦ These characteristics must be UNIQUE to your group! ◦ ALL the organisms in the group must have these characteristics.  HINT: if a new organism was found, what special things would it have if it is going into this phylum (or class).

6  20 points ◦ Habitat – describe the habitats where your organism lives ◦ How do your organisms eat?  Helping Hint: ◦ A good way to describe a niche is to look at what would happen to the community of organisms if your organism went extinct.

8 You must include a bibliography in MLA style! 10 points

9  Grammar  Spelling  Does it look nice?  Did you use pictures?  Did you use titles and captions?  Does it look like an A project?

10  Did everyone contribute to the project?  Your group/partner can award you up to 10 points for your effort, but the teacher has OVER-RIDE power if they see that some members of the group are not helping as much as they should!!!
