2 Objectives (1) To study generation of relativistic runaway electrons (REs) during disruption (2) To search a techniques to replace plasma current (Ip) with RE current with a small Ip-drop by application of LHCD/ICRF

3 Plasma sustained by RE in JET (V. V. Plyusnin, NF 2006) Plasma sustained by RE with LHCD on FTU (J.R. Martin-Solis et al., PRL 2006) Plasma sustained by RE with ECH on JT-60U (Y. Kawano et al., EPS2005)

4 Experimental arrangement OH: I p =100,120 kA n e =0.8,1.0,1.5×10 13 cm -3 I TF =3800,4000 A 1. Search for spontaneous disruptions in HT-7 discharges. 2. Programmed neon gas injection with and without LHCD. 3. Other methods : change the horizontal position to produce disruption. The parameters is the same as plan 1.
