If you bring anything else to the room it could be considered as malpractice. Where you need other specific materials (eg. texts for English or pre-release material for Geography), or for exams where you are not allowed a calculator, I will give you warning via a resources sheet

Clashes Where too many papers are scheduled for the same morning or afternoon session (more than 3 hours). One or more of your papers will be rescheduled to the morning or afternoon of the same day. You will also be supervised in between morning and afternoon exams so that you do not meet anyone doing the same paper at the original start time. You will need to bring some revision and a packed lunch. If you have a clash you will receive a letter confirming the arrangements.

What if … ? … you are late : the Awarding Body will not accept your paper if you arrive after 10:00am or 14:30pm ; they may not accept your paper if you arrive between 09:30am and 10:00am or between 14:00pm and 14:30pm … you are running late : phone Reception to let us know your ETA. We will allow you the full amount of time if that is possible. … you are ill on the day of the exam, and you do not attend it, you will not be allowed to sit that exam at any other date. If you do decide to sit the exam, you must inform the invigilator in charge that you are unwell and he / she will act accordingly. If you feel unwell during the exam put your hand up and wait for an invigilator to attend to you. … there is an emergency, follow the instructions given you by the invigilator in charge.

Results Due Thursday 11 th March 2010 12:00pm. You will need to come to the Main Hall to collect them in person.

Finally… Personal timetables in registers by Thursday this week Letters about clashes will be sent to you by post Letters confirming extra time arrangements will be sent in the post Afterwards I need to speak to : –Year 12 Business students and Year 13s re-taking unit 1 (“Planning and Financing a Business”) –Year 13 Biology students re-sitting unit 2 (“Molecules, Biodiversity, Food and Health”) –Year 13 Chemistry students re-sitting unit 1 (“Atoms, Bonds and Groups”)

Year 12 and 13 after an exam 10 minute break then go to timetabled SWGS lesson No need to go to BWS lesson if it has already started when you come out of the exam
