Degrees available at Boston Conservatory The different degrees that the Boston Conservatory offers are Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees. Your Postmaster’s and Postbaccalaurete certificates are also available. As well as your BFA.

Entrance, Audition’s, and Cost’s The entrance requirements for the Boston Conservatory is that you have all your necessary transcripts, your letters of recommendation, artistic resume, and your writing sample. You must also set up a acting audition where applicants must prepare two short, contrasting monologues. Full time Theater costs $31,900.

Tuition and Financial Aid The cost to attend Boston Conservatory is $56,815. And the tuition and fees for the Conservatory are $35,485. As a form of Financial Aid, the Boston Conservatory awards scholarships based upon a result of the admissions entrance audition. The scholarships range from $2000 - full tuition.

The most popular industries in a Theater career are Movies & Theater, which average salary is $31,570 - $49,762, and Performing Arts with a salary of $30,529 - $48,251. The experience needed to become an Actor/Performer is usually the best way, by getting involved in lots of local community, school and church plays.

Music The Boston Conservatory’s Music Division forms a vital part of the musician’s and vocalist’s education as a listener and audience member. The programs for a Musical career at the Conservatory are courses like, The Alexander Technique for Musicians, Creative Musician, and Career Skills for Musicians. A music career requires a bachelor's/master's degree in area of specialty and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. And to be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Dance The Boston Conservatory’s Dance Division uses courses that are an introduction to the concepts and elements of modern dance choreography. Such courses are Choreography, Modern Technique, and Dance Styles. The average annual salary of a professional dancer recorded in 2010 is $21,600 per year. However, most dancers earn a salary between $15,000 and $35,000 per year. The experience needed to be a dancer or to become a professional dancer is usually dancing. Most people will choose you if you have done some similar work.
