3. Execution Partner determines problem; calls a MAYDAY. Transmit their PLAN: – Problem – Location – Air – Needs RIT Crew launches Decon is prepared to receive PT with extra air.

4. Execution Have an entry of three enter the “Hazard Zone”. Indicate to one member of each team prior to entry the “issue” they will develop. – Sprain/tear (cannot walk) – Chest pain (needs ALS treatment) – Trauma to head leading to unconsciousness Have partner react to issue and call a MAYDAY. Have RIT teams enter hot zone to rescue down technician.

5. Execution Have RIT team remove tech victim and process through decontamination and move to aid.

6. Discussion Points/Goals Best practices for rapid decontamination. Best practice for rapid extrication from a suit. Best practice for extraction from point of injury/illness. Discuss grade changes and how to quickly move the down technician. What will our plan be to continue the operation and eliminate the hazard?
