Let’s REPLICATE Step 1: Do you have a nitrogenous base? Which one? Step 2: Find your matching nitrogenous base according to the base pair rules. Step 3: Create a double helix with 5 other nucleotides. Step 4: Create a double helix with the entire class. Step 5: What is the purpose of helicase? Step 6: What is the purpose of DNA polymerase? Closure….Comic Book Replication Using your Bellwork, create a 6 strip comic book page describing the process of DNA Replication. – Be creative in the representation of your setting and characters – Include thought bubbles and character names (DNA, Helicase, DNA Polymerase, etc…) – Must include color – Will be due in the tray on Friday (Monday for band kids) Small Group CHAMPS
