10 Common Features of Most Hybrids that improve fuel economy:  Idle stop  Regenerative braking  Power assist mode  Engine-off drive-electric vehicle mode

11 Advantages  Less toxic emissions.  Hybrids can run on electricity or gas.  The battery pack of a hybrid vehicle never needs to be charged from an external source.  Hybrids have smaller engines, therefore they tend to weight less than non-hybrids.  Hybrids reduce fuel costs.  Tax deduction.

12 Disadvantages  Hybrids are more expensive than non-hybrids.  It require more maintenance.  It has low towing capacity.  The parts that make up the hybrid car are more expensive and are more difficult to acquire for one’s car.  Since a hybrid is electrical, Water cannot be used to put out a fire that starts in the hybrid.  Hybrids(in regards to a car accident)have a much higher risk of exploding.
