1 God’s operations from the beginning genesis on a laptop

2 start 1:1-2:4 genesis

3 How do we know God? 2

4 HOW DO WE KNOW GOD? ORIGINS OF THE CREATOR PROOFS OF THE CREATOR
ATTRIBUTES OF THE CREATOR

5 Origins of the Creator 1

6 Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

7 Origins of the Creator Genesis 1:1 & Science demonstrate that the universe has a definite beginning. Time, space, matter, energy all began at some definite point. Scientific Evidence supports this…and the Bible claims it!

8 Origins of the Creator God needs no beginning.
People argue that nothing comes from nothing. I couldn’t agree more! Origins of the Creator is that He is the Self-existent One. He has always existed. He is eternal. He is outside of time, matter, energy and space. God needs no beginning.

9 Origins of the Creator God needs no beginning.
God replied to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. ( or I AM because I AM) This is what you are to say to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you.” ~ Ex 3:14 (HCSB) God needs no beginning.

10 Proofs of the Creator 2

11 Proofs of a Creator What keeps us from knowing God? seeing God?

12 Proofs of a Creator The fool says in his heart, “God does not exist.”
~ Psalms 14:1 (HCSB)

13 Proofs of the Creator First, be aware of this: scoffers will come in the last days to scoff, following their own lusts, 4 saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they have been since the beginning of creation.” 5 They willfully ignore this: long ago the heavens and the earth existed out of water and through water by the word of God” 2 Peter 3:3-5 (HCSB)

14 Proofs of the Creator Inner Sense Argument Cosmological Argument
Teleological Argument Moral Argument Scriptural Argument

15 Proofs of the Creator INNER SENSE ARGUMENT: There seems to be an inner sense of God in all people. As if a Creator embedded this into the genetic code of life. (Romans 1) COSMOLOGICAL ARGUMENT: The theory of first cause supports a supernatural designer. The first cause of creation is God the Creator. (Genesis 1:1) He is the first cause of all things. First cause of space, time, variety, complexity, consciousness, felling, will, ethics, values, righteousness, justice, holiness, love, life etc.

16 Proofs of the Creator Teleological Argument: Creation gives evidence of harmony, order, and design which supports an intelligence purpose behind all of life. Random processes simply cannot logically explain life. (Genesis 1) Ontological Argument: Our existence must belong to a supernatural being because it is greater to exist than not to exist. It is unimaginable and illogical to say there is no God. (Psalm 14:1)

17 Proofs of the Creator Moral Argument: Sense of right and wrong embedded in all people. Scriptural Argument: The Bible leads to no other conclusion than a Creator God. (Genesis 1& John 1)

18 can be known about God is evident
Proofs of the Creator For God’s wrath is revealed from heaven against all godlessness and unrighteous- ness of people who by their unrighteous- ness suppress the truth, 19 since what can be known about God is evident among them, because God has shown it to them. Romans 1:18-19 (HCSB)

19 Attributes of God 3

20 ATTRIBUTES OF GOD God is independent – He needs no one.
God is eternal – He has always been, having no beginning or end. God is Omnipresent – He is not limited by time or space. God is Omniscient – He fully knows all things. God is Omnipotent – He can do anything, all powerful. God is all wise – He knows what is best. God is Spirit – He exists as a being not made of matter, has no dimensions, and is the most excellent of all kinds of existence.

21 We can Know the Creator From the creation of the world
His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what He has made. As a result, people are without excuse. ~ Romans 1:20 (HCSB)

22 We Can Know God! How do we know God?
The fool says in his heart, “God does not exist.” Psalms 14:1 (HCSB)
