Books That Influenced My Life Mike Johnson

This book was important to me because my Grandma used to read it to me almost everyday when I was younger. I remember that it created a very strong bond between us that still exists today. It was also the first book I learned to read.

This is the first book I ever read by myself without hearing it first. I remember that my dad was an electrician and that really made me want to read this book even more. I also remember that once I learned to read it, I would read this during the day when he was at work so I wouldn’t miss him as much.

Let’s be honest here, what kid hasn’t read Goosebumps at some point? For me this was the first chapter book I ever read, and I am 90% sure that it was this story too. These books were different than most I had read at this point, they were not cute and semi-informative, they were gross and scary, exactly like young boys like! I remember that once I read this book, I read many more of this series and it helped boost my reading scores to near perfect for 3 years in a row.

I read this book was I was a freshman here at FGCU. This book is special because it was the first book that lied to me. The story about Greg building so many schools in the middle east was later found to be false or partially false after I read the book and believed what he said. I remember siding with him in many of the issues dealt with in the book and when it was found to be false, I felt betrayed and angry.

This is the latest book that I have read without being forced to do so. Being a driver myself, I thought this book would just be interesting in that respect, however I quickly learned that it was a very motivational book. This book taught me that no matter how bad you have it, it could always be worse. This book also grabbed my attention and helped me enjoy reading again, even if it was only for a few days.

I learned from this quiz that I am a very logical and spatial person. I also have high levels of physical, interpersonal, and musical tendencies which I do not fully agree with. I think the spatial and logical categories apply to me because I am a psychology student and because of my time in this field I have learned to think logically about everything and question things. The spatial comes naturally to me because I have always learned and taught better when I can use visual examples rather than just using words, which I am not the best at anyway.
