IDVR is a state-federal program whose goal is to assist people with disabilities prepare for, secure, retain or regain employment. Our Vision is: Your success at work means our work is a success. Our Mission is: Prepare individuals with disabilities for employment and community enrichment

This session will present an IDVR perspective on what factors need to be considered when selecting a suitable vocational goal. Some examples will be provided to assist in seeing how IDVR works with individuals to assist with vocational decisions. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.

1. Compatibility of disability with employment goal: *Discuss how the functional limitations of the customer's disabilities impact the customer's ability to perform the physical, mental and social requirements of the proposed employment.
