Procedure Drop water onto the penny one drop at a time keeping careful count of number of drops. Need to drop water until the penny can’t accept any more—you will need to go “one-drop too far” and the water will actually need to spill over. One drop less than “spill over” will be your amount. 4. CLEAN UP  Pour unused water back into the pitcher  Put pipettes back on counter (be sure there is no water in it)  Put dry pennies back in the bag  Put cups back on table—up side down on the paper towels  Wipe up any spills and put waste in trash cans
