2. Introduction Before I was here in this wonderful country Australia I was living in Africa with my family. In this slide show I will be showing you how I immigrated to Australia and why I immigrated to Australia and other details.

3. The country my family was born in "South Africa” South Africa is a beautiful country. I use to live in a place called Kloof in Durban. There are a variety of animals living in South Africa such as hippos, zebras, elephants, rhinos, buffalos, giraffes and more. I have seen all these animals in my own car! South Africa can be an amazing place but there are some down sides. 5. Why My Family Immigrated to Australia? The reasons why my family moved to Australia was because there is a lot of crime in Africa. Even in our own house we had iron bars over our windows. We did not want to live like this. Secondly there aren’t many good educational opportunities and not many jobs. This would affect my family when we wanted to study or get a job. Another thing was there are more opportunities for my family and me in Australia. I didn’t really understand why we had to move to Australia, I had just turned six but I understand now.

6. When our Family Migrated and How we Migrated My dad migrated before us. The reason why he migrated before us was because my dad wanted to find a job to earn money. My dad left on the 24 th of November 2008. My mum, sister and I left on March 13 th 2009. My dad travelled by plane and my mum, sister and I travelled by plane as well.

7. Conclusion Our family is so lucky to live in Australia. We are so blessed to live in a country like this. Not many people can get the opportunity to move country or afford to go to another country. Australia is a great place and my mum and dad said it was the best decision they ever made.
