4. John Calvin Created a sect of Christianity similar to Martin Luther but it included the idea of predestination. * Predestination is the idea that everybody’s fate has been predetermined by God. This sect was called Calvinism.

5. Hudreich Zwingli Leader in the Swiss Reformation Similar conclusions to Martin Luther about the scriptures. He insisted that the Bible was the source of Christian truth rather than the Church.
