Cracow Seminar, 2006Dragon – fly Project Project objectives General objectives: –The expected overall outcome of the project is the integration of acceding and applicant countries (AAC), into the co - operation mechanism in the field of WHP Specific objectives: –Development of a framework for co-operation between relevant stakeholders of the applicant countries and the current Member States by establishing national contact offices of the European Network for Workplace Health Promotion (ENWHP) in 7 AAC –Analysis of the current situation concerning whp in new EU member states and candidate countries and compilation of a status-quo report –Dissemination of good workplace health practice and policies

Cracow Seminar, 2006Dragon – fly Project Target Group Target Group(s) –Relevant stakeholders in: : Cyprus, Estonia, Malta, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovenia, Slovak Republic /B group/ –EN WHP Members (including: Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech Republic /A group/) Methods to reach target group –Identification of players via established networks and cooperation mechanisms, official contacts with relevant ministries –Organisation of business and round - table meetings –Dissemination of materials for NCOs (publications and website) Barriers -insufficient commitment from stakeholders -changes of the institutions involved in the project

Cracow Seminar, 2006Dragon – fly Project Methodology & Implementation Strategy: Methodology –Multi-stakeholder networking and social marketing –Analysis of legal, organizational issues concerning whp in AAC Implementation strategy 1.Identification of relevant stakeholders for promoting workplace health in the AAC and set up of national contact offices of EN WHP in 7 ACC (group B countries) 2.Organization of round – table meetings on national level of relevant stakeholders with participation of EN WHP representatives in order to create commitment of the stakeholders concerned in 7 ACC

Cracow Seminar, 2006Dragon – fly Project Methodology & Implementation Strategy: 3.Development of a guideline for the analysis of the status quo at the national level with regard to WHP polices and practices (legal, organizational circumstances and models of good practice if they exist) in the AAC 4.Implementation of the analysis and compilation of the status quo report 5.Organization of a symposium for EN WHP members to discuss the results of the analysis 6.Adaptation of the EN WHP results to the needs of the AAC

Preparation and publication of a guidebook concerning the outcomes of the analysis of the status – quo report and expert group recommendations in WHP, EN WHP know - how and models of good practice if they are identified 8. Preparation of the supportive infrastructures for the dissemination of good practices and polices in whp at national level and marketing of the results 9. Preparation of communication materials to support the infrastructure for dissemination of good practices and polices (standardized information kit, guidelines for organizing a specific section on the web site at national level, integration of all results of the project in the web site of the EN WHP

Cracow Seminar, 2006Dragon – fly Project Project partners Partners –BKK (EN WHP secretariat) –Romtens foundation, Romania –EN WHP members /including A group countries/ –Identified new NCOs /B group/ Collaboration with the ENWHP Realisation of the project is closely linked with the EN WHP strategy, especially its 1 st target: that all 31 member countries of network should have access to a supportive infrastructure at national level –Preparation and development of the project's proposal –Identification of relevant stakeholders –PR and marketing of project’s development and its results
