5. Events Continued Three days later the owners of the cabin, Bill and Jane Brown, return home. Their cabin was destroyed and the estimated damage was $10,000. The damage was reported and the police contacted Ed Rice because he was the one selling the beer to minors and remembered the four teenagers.

Events Continued The teenagers were identified and charged with breaking and entering, vandalism, and underage drinking The Teenagers had to pay $400 as well as serve 80 hours of community service. Once the Browns learned that the committee did not plan to check IDs they decided to sue the festival committee.
