Interesting Information JHU was terrible in almost every sport while Hartwell was there including a loss to Princeton by a score of 108-0. JHU is known today for lacrosse. One of the most acknowledged men to advance Physical Education scientifically and medically.

Questions Most of Edward Hartwell’s accomplishments were at JHU. What sports team is JHU known for today? Hartwell’s application for admittance at JHU had only one sentence on it as to why they should accept him. Do you think he made a big impact on our profession?
