Level Two Oil Case Study #2 Attendance A parent mentions to you that she saw a teacher at the local grocery store during schools hours with her child. She also mentioned that this wasn’t the first time. The teacher’s child also goes to your building. You as the principal take it upon yourself to look at the number of sick days and personal days the teacher has been using and is it being abused by this teacher? Questions to ask based on data: What are the usual days of absence? Is there a pattern? Are the absences legal? What data do you need?
