1. It was a beautiful day. Sara, Lily, Jamie, and Meera were getting ready to play. They had finished their lunch.

2. Jamie said “Let’s play Santa’s Elf today.” All of them agreed and were happy. Then she said raise your hands if you believe in Santa.

3. Jamie, Lily, and Meera raised their hands.

4. All of them looked at Sara. She was quiet. She said "Every Year on Christmas Eve, I sit and wait for Santa. I have never seen him. Though every morning I get a present. I am not sure if I believe in Santa or not. But I think playing Santa's Elf will be fun."

5. Jamie said "If you don't believe in Santa, you cannot play this game with us."

6. Lily and Meera were shocked. They felt sad for Sara but they did not know what to do. They were scared that if they said something she would also get mad at them.

7. Sara felt hurt. She did not know what to do. She went and sat on a bench and watched her friends playing and having fun. She was sad. She wanted to play too. But her friends were not including her.
