5% of elderly live in long-term care facilities. Most receive care by informal supports. Perceived knowledge is greater than actual knowledge. Malnutrition is twice as likely to occur with homebound older adults.

Implications for site Past research suggests that caregivers found many resources to be “too detailed” We have taken this into consideration and made every attempt to create site that is user friendly and easy to navigate Past research has focused on physical health and nutrition
