Using Moodle & OneFile for Apprenticeship Learning Sam Charles & Trishul Gudka

Introductions: Sam Charles – IT Assistant Role: Helping to maintain the computer systems and other electrical equipment. I also work on the helpdesk. I am undertaking an Apprenticeship in Business and Administration Level 2.

Introductions: Trishul Gudka – E-Learning Champion Role: To develop E-Learning. To support Learners, Assessors, IQA’s, Associates and Centre Staff in using the systems.

Practical – Hands on……. 20mins Initial Diagnostic IT Assessment There are four graded tasks in the IT assessment. By working through the assessment candidates will encounter these tasks. In order these are:

1. Add a discussion topic in Moodle 2. Upload Evidence to Onefile 3. Accept an assessment plan from an assessor 4. Attach evidence to an assessment and send the assessment back to the assessor Each task carries a score of 20%, except the final task which scores 40% (as there are 2 parts to this task). We would expect each of these tasks to be completed. The candidates would normally have access to both the e- learning helpline and the dedicated helpdesk email address if they need any assistance. A candidate will not automatically be marked down for requesting help. You have the assistance of myself and Trishul.
