T YPE T RAINING /P RACTICAL T RAINING Definition of “Minimum Mandatory Tasks” for Practical Training The “Master Parameter” should not be the duration but the content Standardization of all Practical Training under JAR/ECAR (PART)-147 criteria Avoidance of the need of two separate responsible organisations (147-MTO and 145-MO) “Case by case” review by authority after approved training is not necessary

Kavka October 23 rd, 2003 Page 9 The goal should be: T YPE T RAINING /P RACTICAL T RAINING After satisfactorily completion of such an approved “complete” training course (even performed in different training organisations) the issue of an Aircraft Maintenance License should be no problem The 145-MO should “work in front” and the 147-MTO should “train” primarily
