Account Code Titles are completely District Specific within the guidelines of the FARG. (TEA & PEIMS only look at the numbers not the titles.) Account Code Number Structure identifies how the budget has been allocated and which campus/organization and program will be using it. 199 11 6399 00 001 0 22 000 Default Title “General Supplies” 6399 – “General Supplies” can be titled anything from Paper, Pencils, Copy Paper Distribution to Furniture – Chairs, Desks, and Computers, Books, etc. and as descriptive as needed for the district to identify the intent of the budget allocation. The District Title above could be “General Supplies (6399) for Instruction (11) on the High School Campus (001) for Career Technical Instruction (PIC 22)”. To shorten and better describe this code, the District could Title it: “Gen. Supplies – HS – CTE” or “High School CTE Supplies” The Default Title comes from the OBJECT CODE TABLE
