Language Objective: Students will read the New England Primer on Page 17 and answer the number two questions from Page 14 under a heading in the spiral notebooks titled “New England Primer.” Language Objective: Students will read the handout and add on to their note catcher.

New England Primer Language Objective: Students will read the New England Primer on Page 17 and answer the number two questions from Page 14 under a heading in the spiral notebooks titled “New England Primer.” Get our your spiral notebooks and create an entry titled New England Primer. Read the primer with a partner and answer the following questions in your spirals. 1. What was the purpose behind reading a primer? 2. How widespread was reading meant to be? 3. What is the image of God and religion presented by the primer?
