2. Step 1: Install Microsoft Active Sync 1. Find the file setup.msi. 2. Right Click and select Install. Warning: Please always keep the Bar Code Scanner in the charger. If the battery run out, the Bar Code Scanner will not work again.

3. Step 2-1: Install Software on Bar Code Scanner After Install Active Sync on Step 1, Then plug the USB cable to the PC. And ‘Mobile Device’ will appear under My Computer and some folder inside it.

4. Step 2-2: Install Software on Bar Code Scanner Copy ‘scanwedge.reg’ to the Mobile Device’s Platform folder as follow. Then press the power button until the Bar code scanner reboot.

5. Step 2-3: Install Software on Bar Code Scanner Connect the Bar Code Scanner to the PC again. Copy 1.cab, 2.cab, 3.cab and ScanWedge.exe to the ‘Temp’ Folder under the Mobi le Device.

6. Step 2-4: Install Software on Bar Code Scanner Execute 1.cab, 2.cab and 3.cab on the Bar Code Scanner. (Remark: Not execute on the PC, Run those files on the Bar Code Scanner) 1.Press following button to open the Start Menu ‘F’ - > ‘CTRL’ -> ‘F’ -> ‘ESC’ 2. Press up arrow key to select ‘Run…’ and then press ‘ENT’ 3. Press ‘F’ -> ‘TAB’ and ‘ENT’ 4. Press ‘F’ -> ‘TAB’ and ‘F’ -> ‘TAB’ then use arrow key to select ‘Tem p’ and press ‘ENT’ 5. Press ‘F’ -> ‘TAB’ and down arrow key to select ‘All Files (*.*)’ and pre ss ‘ENT’ 6. Press ‘F’ -> ‘TAB’ and use arrow key to select ‘1.cab’ and press ‘ENT’ 7. Press ‘ENT’ 8. Press ‘ENT’ 9. Repeat 1. to 8. to install 2.cab and 3.cab

7. Step 3-1: Create Shortcut Copy ‘mchht’ shortcut from ‘Mobile Device’-’Windows’-’Programs’

8. Step 3-2: Create Shortcut 1.Paste the ‘mchht’ files under wi ndows-StartUp. 2.Copy “ScanWedge.exe” under Windows-StartUp. 3. Press the power off button and h old it until the Bar Code Scanner R eboot.
