New PROFIBUS interface module is ALP111. This module is one of FIO and support PROFIBUS-DPV1 protocol. R3.04 PROFIBU Solution

PROFIBUS-FMS use between controllers, between controller and HMI It require event message communication PROFIBUS-DP PROFIBUS-DP is core function of PROFIBUS and uses various industry areas. Hi-speed communication (Max.12Mbbs) and Hi-reliability PROFIBUS-PA PROFIBUS-PA extends DP specification for meeting I.S. Process automation. Use in areas where both power and communication are available over the bus PA Function Block, transducer,AI,AO,DI,DO CENTUM CS3000 supports PROFIBUS-DP interface. 5 PROFIBUS-DPV1 Interface Module (ALP111)
ALP111 (the new PROFIBUS-DPV1 module) will be released as the FIO family at R3.04 More segments can be connected one FCS We have a plan to get PNO (PROFIBUS Nutzer Organisation e. V.) official certification of “DP-V1”, as soon as the PNO finishes their preparation ALP111 has both Class1 and Class2 master function PNO standard redundancy is available ACP71 application compatibility Improved functions based on the experiences of ACP71 Future Enhancements Remote installation for FIO Remote Node HARTonDP PRM Class 1 means It is Master Device All time have to connect on PROFIBUS-DPV1 Mange Slave Devices Class 2 means Maintenance Master Device If require, It should be connect on PROFIBUS-DPV1 All time must not connect Online Configuration or Parameter setting for Slave device R3.04 PROFIBU Solution

12 ALP111 Specification Summary
Improved from ACP71 Up to 16 modules can be installed in KFCS In case of redundancy, up to 8 pairs are available. Up to 8 modules can be installed in FFCS In case of redundancy, up to 4 pairs are available Any other modules, such as AI, AO, DI, DO, ALR, and ALF can be installed together in a same node Can be installed in remote nodes. (Phase plan) The redundancy is available as standard PNO official method Compatibility with ACP71 To use Sycon by Hilscher. Definition data of the existing ACP71 can be imported. ALP111 modules are in redundant configuration Module trouble does not affect slaves PROFIBUS-DP cable is single. Many models of slave are available This redundant mechanism is conformed to PNO standard ooo PROFIBUS-DP Diagnosis communication PROFIBUS-DP network configuration supports 3 type. One is single network configuration. It is same as Foundation Fieldbus network configuration. ALF111 supports same configuration. R3.04 PROFIBU Solution

14 Redundancy (Pattern 2/3)
ALP111 modules are in redundant configuration Module trouble does not affect slaves PROFIBUS-DP cable is also dual Only VOS200 and IS1 of STAHL are available This redundant mechanism is dedicated only for VOS200 and IS1 STAHL Proprietary Protocol Last is module and network redundancy configuration. ALP111 modules are in redundant configuration Module trouble does not affect slaves PROFIBUS-DP cable is also dual More redundant. No more device is available at this moment, so this is in phase plan This redundant mechanism is conformed to PNO standard PNO Standard Protocol Second is module and network redundancy configuration. 18 Improvement of definition (Detail)
One of the points to be improved is the limitation of definition number of %WW Up to 200 definition is available to one FCS Problem in case of some of large scale jobs This 200 definitions are not changed at ALP111 In case of ALP111, much more definition can be done, so enough Handling the IOP/OOP by a channel Continuous data assignment R3.04 PROFIBU Solution
