Work programme 09/10 (1) Published Good Practice guide on Housing Associations preventing homelessness through rent arrears and debt

Work programme (2) GP guide on preventing homelessness due to anti-social behaviour Revised debt agency advice directory Collated HA and LA eviction monitoring information – this is still work in progress Produced a model protocol for working with support providers of floating support to general needs residents

Work programme (3) Bid for CLG funding to tackle unauthorised occupation (4 boroughs and 4 of Has in group involved) Agreed finally (!) – after much discussion - Code of practice on Domestic Abuse

What is next? Wider remit for group? E.g. Likely to agree to include work on relieving overcrowding Reflections on benefits of group – does it drive up service standards and focus our joint efforts by: Information sharing efficiently e.g. debt advice agencies guide Providing challenge/ideas about good practice Through shared data analysis, focussing on what is really going on and dispelling myths e.g. about evictions
