Requirements You need to….. Be a natural born U.S. citizen Have lived in the U.S. for at least 14 years Be at least 35 years old

How long do you serve? One term as President is four years and you can serve two terms.

How much do I get paid? The Presidents yearly salary is $400,000 and you also receive an extra allowance of $50,000. Not to mention you get an extra allowance for travel expenses. However, even if you feel you deserve more money, your income is controlled and set by congress and cannot be changed.

Anything Else? Presidential benefits? You get to live in a big fancy mansion called the White House. 24 hour protection from the secret service. A private relaxation place called Camp David. A fleet of cars, helicopters and planes. A private jet called Air Force One.

What do I do? There are several roles of the President. Chief of State: You need to be the American Icon, a symbol of hope and freedom. Commander in Chief: you get to be in charge of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines, you control where the go and what weapons will be used. Chief of Party: Simple, help your fellow party members (democrats, republicans) get into important positions, all for one and one for all right?

Who am I in charge of? The president is in charge of a ton of departments, a few are….. The Department Of Justice (DOJ) Two agencies inside the DOJ are…… The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) The President is also in charge of a ton of independent agencies.

What do I need to be like? We have 3 things that we believe you should be good at… Honest: You and your country are a reflection of yourself, and if you make honest and ethical behavior a key value, your country will follow suit, earning you a good reputation. Confident: Keep up your confidence level, and assure everyone that setbacks are natural and the important thing is to focus on the larger goal. As the leader, by staying calm and confident, you will help keep the country feeling the same. Committed: By proving your commitment, you will not only earn the respect of your team, but will also instill that same hardworking energy among your staff.
