And righteous shall one become, in treading upon his path

As I humbly stand at the gates of your acceptance

Here O Master I give you my most earnest greetings

I humbly beg of you O noblest of men to treat my flaws

For disappointment has known no path to those you treat

Fond of Mecca I am, drowning in its love Dare I not be so, with the land where Muhammad was born?

Mecca, so great you are that elated I am when I cite your name And as I do, of love I smile until tears remind me how distant you are

With love so deep, with fondness so profound Ardently my heart aches

As years pass by, your remembrance is a sun that never sets

Help me… aid me… love is wearing me out

You drive the blues away O Muhammad O Muhammad, please mend my broken heart

Reach out to me O Muhammad So that my wounds may heal

O Muhammad, the one whose path I follow Your love melts my heart

Yet it helps so much to know that within my love for you is my remedy too
