Becker, from the University of California, “ Less than five percent of technology training is placed on “ transformative ” uses. ” This means that less than five percent of technology used in schools transforms the way we teach, learn and assess our students. Instead, technology is being used as a literacy tool. Word processing should not be a long term technology goal.
