Annual Rainfall averages ~57 inches, with about 50% of the rainfall occurring June- September. Bt1: 20-59cm; yellowish brown (10YR 5/6) sandy loam; structureless; massive; very friable; few fine roots; sand grains bridged and coated w/ clay. Bt2: 59-89cm; yellowish brown (10YR 5/6) loam; weak subangular blocky structure; very friable; fine roots absent; some medium roots present; sand grains heavily coated w/ clay. Bt3: 89-163 + cm; red (2.5YR 4/6) loam; moderate subangular blocky structure; very friable; roots absent; sand grains coated and bridged w/ clay.
