2. Paper Topic Chosen: Corsetry Driving question: How did the corset change the perception of beauty and the body? Thesis statement: Corsets are an ultimate fashion tool, but also the ultimate destruction to the wearer’s body when worn for body modification.

3. Paper cont. Experience: thoroughly enjoyed doing all the research necessary for this project. Challenges: –Changing topics –Balancing other obligations –Sources Finishing my paper gave me a feeling of satisfaction!

4. For my product I decided to make a corset, and wear the corset for my presentation. I had 3 months to order supplies, buy fabric and other needs, and construct the corset Product

5. Product cont. How: –Online research for patterns/Ordering –Sewing lessons –Book for corset making *Challenges: - Supplies -Dependency -Time -Deadlines and still continuing Mentor -Laura -Set up lessons -Helped me with all processes -Constant support

6. Paper  Product The significance of my product is to represent the construction and restrictiveness of the corset.

7. Future I have learned a lot while doing this project I plan on applying the general project processes with future papers, and other projects. I could possibly see a side project of corsetry in my future
