All Rights Reserved. www.infor.com Business Problem Without material availability, completion of the service activities is not possible When the moment of execution is close, the certainty of material availability needs to be high – often companies cannot check whether all parts are there for e.g. tomorrow When the material is NOT available, often no trigger to solve the problem by contacting the supplier, to see whether he can deliver earlier by shifting the service activity to the first date of material availability Material not available causes problems Service activities cannot be completed extra costs, extra visits Customer satisfaction low, since work not done in time or finished later Customer satisfaction low, since the broken installation cannot be used Partial material outbound materials get lost extra costs

All Rights Reserved. www.infor.com LN Solution: how does it work Option to mark service-item as critical for inventory Various levels of materials availability can be checked: ATP (via Enterprise Planning) Planned available (projected inventory) Prioritized On-Hand Prioritized demand (for planned available and prioritized On Hand) Released more important than planned Origin Field Service, Depot, Prev. Maintenance Time Optionally, the Service Activities can be shifted to the first material availability moment Outbound – order complete or activity complete To make sure that all material are issued together for 1 activity or 1 order
