What does an author do? 1. Run the cash register in a bookstore 2. write books and articles for other people to read 3. draw pictures or take photographs for a book or magazine

What does an illustrator do? 1. draw pictures or take photographs for a book or magazine 2. read the author’s words carefully to match the pictures with the story 3. think about the illustration from the reader’s point of view 4. all of the above

What is “The OPAC”? 1. The name of the computer program that helps us find books in a library 2. An OLD PILE of ANTIQUE CARDS 3. A town in Oregon filled with books

How can you tell if a book that is shown on the OPAC is in the library? 1. The box to the left of the title is Blue 2. The box to the left of the title is Green 3. The box to the left of the title is Red 4. The title flashes and says “I’m Here – I’m Here”

Which is the BEST way to find books written or illustrated by someone in the library? 1. search each shelf looking book by book until you the find one you want 2. use the OPAC & write down the information you find before you go to the shelves 3. ask someone else to do it for you
