What should I not do on the Internet? Give your name Address Phone number School name Credit card numbers

When to talk to an adult? If anything makes you feel scared, uncomfortable, or confused. If anyone online asks me my name, address, telephone number, or the name and location of my school. If anyone online asks to meet me in person.

What about e-mail? In an e-mail you should never give any personal information about you or someone else. Never open an e-mail from someone you don’t know.

What should I never post online? Pictures of yourself Pictures of your family Pictures of your home

What if someone is mean? If you get a threatening comment If you get a mean comment

What if a website asks for my information? Always ask an adult before signing up for those websites. Make sure that the websites are trusted first.

Make me a password Make sure that your passwords are long That they use numbers and letters That they don’t include your name That they don’t include your birthday

What about my passwords? If you have trouble remembering your passwords you should not tell someone else. You should write them down on a paper.
