3. 3 COST IC0604 MC/WG meeting December 3-4, 2009, Lausanne, Switzerland Status of liaison with JPEG  JPEG committee was informed at its April 2009 Maui meeting about various concerns of medical imaging (pathology) requirements not suitably addressed by JPEG 2000  JPEG committee issued an AIC call for proposals in its Sardinia July 2009 meeting to request for requirements, data, evaluation methodologies, and eventually example technologies in the field of medical imaging – Response expected at March 2010 JPEG meeting in Boston  Recommendation: COST IC0604 responds to the call
