Hyperbole Hyperbole-using exaggeration to make a point. Her brain is the size of a pea.

Onomatopoeia Onomatopoeia-sound word. The door bell ding when I pushed it.

Alliteration Alliteration-repetition of beginning sound. The bumble bee buzz around town.

Personification Personification-giving human qualities to something not human. The rain kissed my cheeks as it fell.
