7. Homework How much can your child expect?  We expect your child to read EVERY night.  Daily Six Math Review every Thursday night. Other subjects will vary by our area of focus and each child’s individual need(s).

13. Schedule/Carpool When Does School Begin?  Warning Bell: 7:50 a.m. For early arrivers, the gym will open and be supervised at 7:30. Before 7:50, students may enter through the gym doors or the front doors. At 7:50, the front doors, the loading dock door, and the carpool doors on Amherst will be open, too.  Tardy Bell: 8:00 a.m.  Dismissal: 3:15 p.m.  Carpool  Please display your child’s name in your front windshield  Please be respectful of the houses/yards on Amherst during dismissal.
