Documentary - Woodlouse By James Felstead
2
Who is David Attenborough? David Attenborough is well known for his documentaries on wild life and how he narrates over them. He has been creating documentaries for over 50 years and is very experienced with animals.
3
Idea My idea for this documentary is to create a David Attenborough style documentary on woodlouse, however I do not want this to come off as a parody or a comedy because do not want it to seem like I’m making fun off him and would much rather make the documentary factual and interesting.
4
Why? One of the main reasons why I want to do this for my project is because I really like the style of filming done within David’s documentaries through the usage of a variety of filming techniques including: close ups, pan shots, long shots etc. From this I feel that I can re- create this style and make a professional looking documentary.
5
Research I will obviously do a lot of research for this task because it is a factual documentary on woodlouse so I will need to research things like: habitats, skills, survival abilities etc. I also might to research some filming techniques for shots like pan shots for tips and tricks to make the documentary not jitter or jolt. I will also try to combine the filming with the facts by filming the woodlouse performing that fact to try and relate the clip.
6
What? I will be filming woodlouse within there habitat and maybe within a isolated habitat to show there certain characteristics on how they survive within the wild. These characteristics will be linked to the clips in which I will film and voiceover to explain how they survive verbally and visually.
